Single parents serving in the military find it difficult to focus on their duties when all they can think about is their children at home. Not for their safety, since most children are left with trusted relatives. But for their childrens' financial well-being. There are several options you can take; borrow money from your relative (as if leaving your children for them to babysit is not enough), give your oldest child a credit card, which is basically signing his one-way ticket into a world of debt, or transfer money from your savings account and exhaust all emergency cash reserve.
You or a fellow soldier have considered and/or used one of the options above, consequently paying high interest on credit card debt, pissed off a relative or have nothing left in savings account. If you haven't done any of those and need to send money home to your children, consider a military loan.
With a loan up to $10,000 you can make sure your children have enough money for clothes, food and shelter while they wait for you to come home.
Military loans are available to active duty officers in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Department of Defense and Veterans of the United States Armed Forces. Click here to apply
